December 2017 Card Class

My last cardmaking class for 2017 was held on Friday 15th.  My regular ladies were treated to making some decorations...a cracker, a snowflake tree decoration and a small box.

I used some retired Designer Series Paper for the crackers. The labels were made using the Merry Little Labels stampset and Everyday Label Punch from the Holiday Catalogue.  The Foil Snowflakes and Designer Series Paper used on the Silver box are also from the Holiday Catalogue, but are retiring on 2nd January.  The little silver box will be available from 3rd January 2018, as part of Sale-a-Bration.

If you'd like to make these but don't have all the products, simply click on the photo below to take you directly to the item or use the link to my online store.

Keep an eye out for my 2018 class dates.

November 2017 Card Class

Hello again,

Some of you knew that my November card class was rescheduled to 1st December.  We all had fun making this great Christmas card/decoration.  I still need to add a couple of embellishments just to finish it off, but thought I'd share with you now, in case you'd like to make one too.

Here's the details of products we used.

Ornate Tag Topper Punch
Ornate Tag Topper Punch
[137416]
$38.00
Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
[119251]
$9.95

It's a tad time consuming to prepare, but here's the measurements
  1. 1 sheet of 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper cut to 4" x 12".  Then scored @ 2.5", 5", 7.5" and 10".
  2. 10 pieces of cardstock cut to measure 2" x 3.5" for 1st mat (1 used 5 Garden Green & 5 Real Red)
  3. 10 pieces of cardstock cut to measure 1.74" x 3.25 for 2nd mat (I used Whisper White)
  4. Enough Glimmer paper to cut the 'Christmas' letters (I used Red), and colour for your star (I used Silver)
The ornate Tag Topper Punch is retired, but the current Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (Item 133324) is ideal to use.

Just click on the links below the image to take you to that item in my store, or use this link to take you to my shop.

Stamparatus

Hello,

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned a great new stamp placement tool developed by a Stampin' Up! and our Leader to Leader Development team called Stamparatus.  The first reservation window closed in 15 minutes.  It was sooo popular-even I missed out on reserving one😢!

I'm excited to advise that the second reservation window opened today and will stay open until 31st December.  A few things have changed for this reservation window:-

  1. The first window had a 'while stocks last' limit.  However, for the second window, Stampin' Up! is not limiting the maximum number of reservations accepted.  The reservation window will stay open from 6 December until 31 December 2018 at 5:50 PM (AEDT)
  2. The limit per customer is 1 Stamparatus
  3. You are eligible to participate in the second reservation window even if you participated in the first window
Here's a few things you need to know about the Stamparutus.  It
  • is compatible with Stampin' Up!'s red rubber and photopolymer stamps
  • includes a foam mat to use with photopolymer stamps
  • has rulers and gridlines for quick measuring
  • has 2 open sides so you can stamp on large paper
  • has 2 reversible plates.  That's a total of 4 surfaces to work with
  • has 2 magnets to hold the paper in place
  • has magnet storage area
  • measures 20.3 x 20.3 x 2.2 cm.
The best thing about it is the price.  It's selling for only $A85AUD.  How good is that?

Shipping for this window will begin on 19th March 2018 and may be staggered.  You will receive additional communication once your reservation is placed.  To reserve your Stamparatus, you are required to provide your credit card details, but it will not be charged until the Stamparatus ships from the Stampin' Up! facility.  Remember to verify your credit card and shipping information is correct at the time.

What are you waiting for?  I know you want one.  Here's the link to my online store to reserve yours now.  I've reserved mine 🙌

Bye for now.

The Stampin' Up! Year End Sales Event has started.  I've looked at the list of items, and as well as  products retiring from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue, there are some great products discounted until 2nd January, 2018.

New Stampin' Up! Product - Stamparatus

Hello,

Last Saturday I attended the Stampin' Up! OnStage event on the Queensland Gold Coast.  These events give us the opportunity to meet other demonstrators, see new products and see some fabulous creations.

One thing that really grabbed my attention and excited me was a fabulous new stamp placement tool called STAMPARATUS.  The Stampin' Up! team and some experienced demonstrators who are part of our Leader to Leader team worked together to develop it and WOW, I have to say that this tool is not like any others on the market.....it breaks the mould and will change the way you stamp.

The global launch of the Stamparatus will be 1st February, 2018.  To ensure our inventory is not adversely affected, a reservation system is being implemented.  The first reservation window is from 17th - 30th November 2017, with an anticipated shipping approximately 1st February 2018.

Here's a video to show you how it works.  I'll be reserving mine on Friday.  Don't miss out on reserving yours!  If you're not sure how, you can contact me by email.

Bye for now.

November Forgotten Friday

Welcome to this month's Forgotten Friday.  Today I have a Sympathy card for you using retired In Colours and some current products.

Several years ago, before I became hooked on all things Stampin' Up!, I purchased a kit from another company's consultant because I liked the embossed look of the card.  The card I have made today uses that card as inspiration.

This card was quick and easy to make, using some offcuts of retired cardstock, embellisments and ribbon.  The sentiment on the front was done on the computer, but I used a Stampin' Up! stamp set for the inside sentiment.

It is one of those cards you can make with any colour.  Here's the details of the current products:

The retired products I used are:

Watermelon Wonder Classic Stampin' Pad
Watermelon Wonder Classic Stampin' Pad
[138323]
$11.50
Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace Trim
Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace Trim
[138425]
$10.50
2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents
2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents
[138383]
$14.00

If you'd like to make this card using your colours, but don't have the current products, you can click on the link below the photo to take you to the product in my online shop.  Alternatively, drop me an email with your order.

I'm excited to be heading to the Stampin' Up! On Stage Event at the Gold Coast in Queensland today.  Tomorrow we'll have the opportunity to view some of the fabulous new products that will be available from the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Bye for now,
Robyn

October 2017 Card Class - Star of Light

Welcome back.

I've just completed the preparations for this month's card class featuring the Star of Light stampset and matching framelits.  Yay!!  This is the first time I used this set, which has been carried over from last year...thank goodness.  This is one set I will use often this Christmas.

There have been some great creations on Pinterest (my go to place for inspiration).  Here's my take on Amanda Bates, Joanne James and Catherine Carroll's pins.

To make these cards, you'll need the following current supplies:

Glue Dots
[103683]
$8.00

Why not surprise someone this Christmas with a shaker card, z-fold card or a beautifully sponged card.  What are you waiting for?  Are you like me, and need the measurements to get started?  Send me an email, and I'll send them to you.

If you live in Australia and don't have everything to make these cards, you can click on any of the images to take you directly to that item in my store.  Alternatively, you can email to place your order.  I'd be happy to be your demonstrator.

Bye for now,
Robyn
