Thank You - Sea of Textures

Don't you just hate having more than one hobby?  I sure do.

I've been so caught up lately with my tracing my and my husband's ancestors, stamping has taken a back seat.  It's the analytical side of me trying to take over -:)

I did find time to make these cards as a thank you for the sale of some of my retired items.  I thought it was a great way to showcase new Stampin' Up! products.

Here's the products I used to make the cards

If you'd like to make these too, but you don't have everything you need, and you live anywhere in Australia, I'd be glad to help you.  Just click the link below the image to take you directly to that item in my store, or use this link to order anything from my online shop.
Of course, you can always email me if you have any questions, or would rather not shop online.

Thanks for visiting.  Bye for now.

Thank You - Sitting Here

Welcome to my 2nd post on this rainy, grey Wednesday in Port Macquarie.

My friend Chloe Evans is part of the Can You Case It design team and has been suggesting (some might say pestering lol) me to submit a card for one of the challenges.  Here's the challenge for this week:
So yesterday afternoon, I sat down to make a few cards using the Sitting Here stamp set, which until now was sitting on the shelf.  After some searching, I came across one of Sandi MacIver's cards (www.stampinwithsandi.com) on Pinterest that I felt I could CaSE.  Thanks Sandi for sharing your ideas, I have trouble designing my own projects.

I used black embossing powder, (which is now retired) for the pot, flowers and sentiment to make it stand out, then used Daffodil Delight for the pot, Melon Mambo and Old Olive for the flowers and leaves, and Basic Grey for the shadow.

The Sitting Here stamp set is so versatile.  There are sentiments to say thank you, thinking of you and two friendship sentiments.  I like the way you can add as much as you like, or make it clean and simple like this card.

If you'd like more details about this set, or any other products, click on the link in the product list, go to My Shop.

Thank You Notecard - Flowering Fields

Congratulations, you've found my very first post!

What a daunting experience it has been, made a little easier due to the guidance I had from my friend and Team Leader Chloe Evans - http://chloscraftcloset.blogspot.com.au/.

Here’s a taste of my kind of stamping.  I love Clean and Simple what about you?

This is still a work in progress - I'll be updating/adding more information regularly, so as the saying goes –

"Y'all come back now".

Hope you have a good week.
